Birds Australia is committed to holding biennial conferences that provide a regular forum for the exchange of information and ideas between avian-based researchers and conservationists throughout the Australasian region. The conferences are held in a variety of venues to give attendees an opportunity to explore the diverse birdlife in the region. Students wishing to attend can apply for a Stuart Leslie Bird Research Award to cover travel costs to the conference.
