About 4pm yesterday evening I saw five kereru flying up from the bottom of our property, they all settled atop a big pine near the house.......what a joy they are
At the moment kereru seem to be feeding on new shoots ~ I have seen them in kowhai, puriri, whiteywood and matipo.
