Read me - How the forums work

Hi all.  This forum has been set up in an attempt to share knowledge within and between groups and individuals in the New Zealand conservation community in an effort improve the way we work.  Information posted here is freely available to all, although private areas do exist (see below).

Membership
Becoming a member allows you to post to the site and by entering appropriate details into your profile also allows other members to see some information about you - e.g. your organisational affilliation, species you have experience with etc.

Forum structure
Please use the various boards already setup below, or if you wish a new board to be created then post a request in the appropriate "General" board.  I'll split off topics/species as discussion and need develops.

Private areas
I've setup private areas for species recovery groups to discuss issues of relevance to them.  These areas will (when fully implemented) only be visible and accessible to nominated groups of members.  To set up a private area and group send me a private message (PM) - see My Messages on toolbar or just reply to this post.

Administrators and Moderators
Assistance to administrate and moderate this forum will be appreciated.  Again PM me with your offer!
