Wild Pigs in the Waitaks
« on: March 09, 2010, 06:38:53 AM »
Who knows about the plans of the ARC to poison wild pigs in the Waitakeres to combat the spread of the Kauri die-back disease, PTA, what toxins are they using, how is it going to be applied and what is the timeframe for the operation?

I haven't heard about poisioning and a quick search of the ARC website does not reveal too much, except an old press release that doesn't state the methods however implies that ground hunting has been used.
